Responsible for performing all aspects of pharmaceutical care for the hospital system patients including: effective drug use control; safe and efficient drug distribution; appropriate medication selection; provision of drug information to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, patients and ancillary department personnel. **Responsibilities:** * Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures and protocols. * Ensures safe, appropriate and cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures and protocols. * Contributes to the quality and effective management of the Pharmacy Department operation. * Maintains competency as required for current job position/title. * Supervises technical and non\-registered staff. * Effectively operates equipment pertinent to practice area. * Demonstrates the values and behaviors of the organization. * Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor. * Must be graduate of a school or college of Pharmacy accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** * Previous hospital pharmacy expe...
