Silicon Valley Tax and Accounting is seeking a detail\-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting and tax practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in individual and business tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial accounting. This position involves working with a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and small businesses. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable managing multiple client assignments and deadlines. Key Responsibilities **Tax Preparation \& Compliance** * Prepare individual federal and state income tax returns (Form 1040\), including returns involving investments, rental properties, and self\-employment income. * Prepare business tax returns, including Form 1120 (C Corporations), Form 1120S (S Corporations), and Form 1065 (Partnerships). * Assist with multi\-state tax filings, estimated tax calculations, and other tax compliance requirements. * Review client financial records and supporting documents to ensure accurate tax reporting. * Research tax\-related questions and assist with responding to IRS and state tax notices. *...
