The Market Development Intern will support and enhance the work done by the Market and Development department. The department manages contracts, special initiatives, coalitions, and relationships with a wide variety of supporters and stakeholders. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Organizes and implements administrative systems and procedures performing necessary support duties of the department. * Draft, edit and prepare correspondence, monthly reports and other material using word processing, spreadsheets and/or databases. * Arrange venues and schedules for board members and staff for trade visits. * Work with the ISA communications team and the Director of Market Development to manage ISA’s messaging and engagement around animal agriculture, aquaculture, biofuels, soy foods and new uses. * Develop budgets, review project ideas, manage project and contract status working with an internal database. * Manage multiple projects with varying timelines and specific deliverables needed for each. **Competencies** * Able to work independently or cooperatively with others on a team. * Ability to analyze problems, develop a path toward problem solving, and manage the process to co...
