**Job Overview** Excelsior Safety is seeking a highly organized, detail\-oriented Controller to lead our day\-to\-day accounting and payroll functions. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing weekly payroll, managing invoicing, and ensuring timely collections while providing exceptional communication and customer service to both internal employees and external clients. The ideal candidate is analytical, dependable, highly organized, and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records while building strong professional relationships. **Responsibilities** Accounting * Manage all company bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online. * Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all financial records. * Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts. * Process journal entries and month\-end closing activities. * Prepare financial reports for leadership. * Coordinate with the company’s CPA during year\-end close. * Maintain vendor records and process 1099 reporting.
