**Communications Coordinator** QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public relations, or journalism. * Five or more years of related experience in communications, journalism, or public relations. Prior copy editor experience and background in crisis communications * Ability to write in the AP writing style or within Chicago Manual of Style writing guidelines. Graphic design experience across a wide variety of project scopes and knowledge of best practices. * Established record of accomplishment in securing press coverage. * Proven ability to write, source and photograph content for brochures, print, broadcast and social media, and for the web. * Exceptional writing, proofreading, and content editing skills. JOB FUNCTIONS: * Responsible for all ISD printed and digital materials, such as media releases, newsletters, brochures/flyers and pamphlets. * Create content for and regularly update Char\-Em ISD website(s) (including Career Tech website). * Create content for and regularly update Char\-Em ISD social media sites. * Responsible for taking photographs of ISD events for social media, website, and printed content. * Maintain ongoing media relations inc...
