**Description** **Your role at GEI.** GEI has an exciting opportunity for a senior\-level ecological restoration specialist to join our close\-knit and collaborative environmental practice in Sacramento, California. We are seeking someone who is passionate about ecological restoration, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and is ready to contribute to projects that result in meaningful positive change. This role involves pursuing and executing challenging and meaningful ecological restoration and conservation projects throughout California, with an emphasis in the Central Valley, Sacramento\-San Joaquin River Delta, Bay Area, and Sierra Nevadas. As part of our multidisciplinary project teams, the ideal candidate will serve an important role winning, leading, and managing projects; interfacing with existing and new clients to ensure their project needs are met; overseeing development of ecological restoration plans, natural resource management plans, and other technical documents; and working as part of our ecological restoration team to solve an array of water and environmental issues critical to California’s ecosystems.
