Steel Piping Operations Manager oversees daily manufacturing, fabrication, coating, and workflow efficiency for steel pipe production lines while managing safety and staff performance. Key Responsibilities * Production \& Operations: Lead daily plant operations across steel pipe manufacturing, tubular processing, or ID/OD (inner/outer diameter) coating lines. * Quality \& Safety: Enforce OSHA compliance, safety protocols for heavy machinery (cranes, forklifts), and QA/QC or API inspection standards. * Performance Optimization: Monitor KPIs like equipment uptime, scrap reduction, throughput yield, and labor utilization. * Cross\-Functional Coordination: Partner with maintenance, quality control, engineering, and logistics teams to prevent bottlenecks and ensure on\-time customer delivery. * Workforce Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and supervise production supervisors, machine operators, and skilled tradespeople.
