**Location:** In person only **Position Summary:** The Medical Assistant at WMCC is responsible for assisting nurses, providers and other staff with patient care, clerical, environmental, and organizational tasking. **Typical Job Requirements:** * Each day STRIVE to make a difference for your co\-workers and the patients. * Responsible to reflect the organizations Core Values in every interaction while at WMCC. * Preparing patients for their visit * Ensuring patient comfort * Maintaining patient areas * Coordinating schedules in assigned areas * Regular and predictable attendance **Required Education:** High School diploma or equivalent required. Medical Assistant program completion and certified or registered as an MA required. **Required Knowledge and Skills:** Previous experience in health care environment highly desirable. Must have or be able to obtain BLS certification. Commitment to providing compassionate, patient\- and family\-centered care.
