**Job Summary** The Procurement Specialist is a crucial resource for researching and facilitating the practical ordering of products and services and ensuring that supply commitments and business needs are met. They will support a variety of employees within the organization. This role will help to clarify requirements and evaluate and assist with determining suppliers. They will generate and format quotes as needed to meet customer requirements. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Learn to evaluate material order content and applications; determine if there are any missing or incorrect components needs. * Compare materials and components on cost, quality, specifications, availability, and lead time with vendors and manufacturers. * Familiarize themself with active approved vendors and identify new potential vendors. * Accurate data entry into our proprietary software. * Provide Purchasers the accurate information for placing orders * Generate proposals and submit to account management for submission to customers (As Needed) * Able to communicate with the purchasing team and various suppliers and manufacturers effectively and decisively. * Perform other related duties as required and...
