**Job Title:** Accounting Manager **Location:** Binghamton, NY **Reports To:** Controller **Employment Type:** Full\-Time, Exempt **Annual Salary:** $85,000 \- $95,000 **Position Summary:** The Accounting Manager plays a key role in supporting the organization?s financial management and accounting operations. This position is responsible for helping manage day\-to\-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and leadership ability. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in managing the month\-end and year\-end close processes * Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements * Ensure compliance with GAAP, and regulatory requirements * Ensure design and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting * Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting * Support the Controller in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses * Coordinate and prepare documentation for audits * Supervise accounting staff, provi...
