The Role Overheard New York is looking for a freelance Content Creator to help drive our day\-to\-day NYC content. This person will ideate, write, produce, and publish content that feels unmistakably “Overheard”. Quick\-witted, culturally plugged\-in, and ultra\-relatable, while keeping every post feeling native to New York City. You'll work across written editorial, social\-first video, and supporting formats to keep the Overheard New York feed fresh, funny, and dynamic. This is a project\-based / freelance role ideal for someone who lives and breathes internet culture, moves fast, and can turn everyday NYC moments into scroll\-stopping content. You'll collaborate closely with the Editor, Social Leads, and the broader Overheard team, contributing ideas in pitch meetings, helping build new formats, and upholding brand consistency across platforms.
