APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE\*\*\* **Job Summary** --------------- The Eligibility \& Enrollment Policy Unit (E\&E) within the Medicaid Division of the Nevada Health Authority (NVHA) is seeking a Social Services Program Specialist 2 in Reno, Carson City, or Las Vegas. This position works under the direction of a Social Services Program Specialist 3 to interpret and apply complex Medicaid and CHIP programs eligibility regulations; draft and revise portions of the Medicaid and CHIP State Plan and related policies; coordinate with other department staff and sister agencies on E\&E operations in accordance with policy; support E\&E system needs and validate system changes; provide technical assistance, training, and clarification to agency staff; analyze data and prepare reports related to E\&E; assist in resolving complex eligibility issues; and contribute to monitoring program quality and effectiveness in alignment with federal and State requirements.
