STAFF/SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Burke amp; Lamb, PC a growing CPA firm is seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team in New Bedford, MA. With offices in New Bedford, MA and Nantucket, MA we service clients throughout the South Coast, Cape, and the Islands. We provide audit, accounting, tax and management consulting services to a diverse group of clients, including but not limited to commercial fishing, restaurants, nonprofit organizations, manufacturing, healthcare, petroleum distribution and retail, and professional services. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 to 5 years of public accounting experience. The staff accountant should possess strong communication skills and be proficient in computer programs such as MS Office, QuickBooks and ProSystem fx tax software. Experience should include preparation of individual, corporate, fiduciary, and nonprofit income tax returns; financial statement preparation; year\-end business closings, and general business and tax consulting.
