**Position Summary:** The Fraternity Chapter Auditor is an entry level accounting position that focuses on monitoring chapter finances to ensure chapters follow all financial policies determined by National Council. **Responsibilities** * Audits chapters’ monthly accounting reports—including checkbook journals, billing and receivables journals—to make sure chapters are following national policies and procedures. * Prepares monthly and year\-end journal entries. * Prepares an annual budget for each chapter. Monitors finances and chapter spending throughout the year to ensure compliance and fiscal responsibility. * Work with chapters on budget revisions twice per year. * Reviews chapter finances/transactions in Billhighway. Alerts officers, Senior Director of Fraternity Finance and Chief Financial Officer to unusual situations for action approval. * Acts as a contact to chapter VPs Finance. Responds to questions from Fraternity and chapter officers regarding chapter finances. * Ensures member billing accuracy for returning members and new members. * Provides monthly correspondence, such as: audit letter, reduced fee letters and other miscellaneous correspondence. * Monitors alumnae a...
