The Assistant Sports Information Director (ASID) is responsible for the communications, publicity, statistical management, and digital presentation of approximately 14 of the college's 28 intercollegiate athletic programs. Working under the supervision of the Senior Sports Information Director, the Assistant Sports Information Director serves as the primary communications contact for assigned sports and provides accurate, timely, and engaging coverage of student\-athletes, coaches, teams, and athletic events. In addition to traditional sports information responsibilities, this position has significant responsibility for athletics, social media, live streaming and digital production, and ticketing operations. The position plays an important role in increasing the visibility of the athletics department, enhancing the fan experience, and promoting the accomplishments of student\-athletes and teams.
