**Role Overview:** The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, performs clinical and administrative duties, and supports healthcare operations. **Key Responsibilities:** * Obtains patient information, vital signs, and screening details using electronic records. * Prepares examination rooms and assists patients with visits, ensuring safety and privacy. * Performs tests, procedures, and basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, wound dressings, and specimen collection. * Administers medications per policy, supports laboratory functions, and manages inventory of supplies. * Handles clerical duties like scheduling, documentation, referrals, co\-payments, and patient communication. * Supports patient education and assists with onboarding new staff. * Maintains infection control protocols, sterilizes instruments, and ensures equipment functionality. * Participates in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives. **Qualifications \& Skills:** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with certification from recognized bodies (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, AAH, or AMCA).
