**JOB INFORMATION** ------------------- Under the general direction of the Assistant Directors of the Department of Finance, the Financial Operations Managers are responsible for overseeing the accounting, budget, disbursements and financial reporting functions in the Department. This position will lead the Grant/Successor Agency/Debt/Public Utilities Accounting sections. This position is primarily responsible for all accounting transactions, financial statements, and other financial\-related reports related to these sections. Other responsibilities include applying new and existing Governmental Accounting Standards, overseeing the preparation of the Schedule of Federal Awards, ROPS, accounting information in Official Statements, and any presentations related to these sections to City Council and related committees. **Minimum Requirements:** * Possession of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or a related field; * A master’s degree and/or an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certificate is highly desirable; * Three (3\) years of progressively responsible management experience; * Municipal government experience, accounting, and grant managem...
