Description

Eikenhout is looking for an experienced **Fleet Manager** to work out of the corporate offices and manage the fleet across all Michigan locations. This person will be responsible for the overall maintenance, compliance and utilization of Eikenhout's fleet assets. This position works closely with operations management throughout the company to ensure safe, reliable and cost\-effective operations of company vehicles, trailers, material handling and lifting equipment. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * Direct and coordinate fleet operations across all Eikenhout locations in Michigan, partnering with branch leaders to support delivery and operational needs. * Manage fleet maintenance and compliance programs, including preventive maintenance, DVIR review, repair authorization, manufacturer recalls, service campaigns, required records, and return\-to\-service decisions. * Manage fleet scheduling, spare\-vehicle assignments, and response to breakdowns, accidents, repairs, and other disruptions to maintain operational continuity and minimize service interruptions. * Manage the fleet asset lifecycle by evaluating purchases, replacements, specifications, utilization, condition, depl...
