Overview: Installs, maintains, and repairs battery energy storage systems (BESS), inverters/converters, and related electrical components for residential, commercial, or utility\-scale applications. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, diagnostic skills, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Technicians may specialize in specific areas, such as solar power, electric vehicles, or backup power systems including liquid/gas fuel driven power generation devices and associated switchgear. **Compensation:** $95,000 to $105,000 based on experience (This is an hourly position with compensation annualized) Responsibilities: * Install, commission, and configure BESS components, including batteries, inverters, control systems, and other electrical equipment. * Industrial communications and networking experience a plus: Including Routers, Modbus, CAN Bus and Codesys Tools * Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctions, often working with high\-voltage DC systems, electrical switchgear, and low\-voltage electronics. * Replace defective compone...
