Scorpius Space Launch Company (SSLC) is seeking a hands\-on, versatile Financial Controller to own and maintain the company’s financial and administrative infrastructure. This is a broad, high\-responsibility role in a small aerospace manufacturing company where the Controller will serve as the primary owner of accounting, financial reporting, payroll, HR administration, employee benefits, and related business operations. This is not a role focused solely on reviewing reports or managing a large accounting staff. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable thinking strategically and executing the work personally—from closing the books and preparing management financials to processing payroll, reconciling accounts, maintaining inventory accounting, supporting purchasing controls, administering benefits, and answering employee HR questions. A major focus of the position will be strengthening SSLC's financial systems as the company grows. This includes improving job costing, raw\-material inventory accounting, cash\-flow forecasting, purchasing controls, and management reporting so leadership has accurate and timely information for decision\-making.
