Essential Job Functions OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT · Provides broad management guidance and supervision over several functions including Customer Service and the Warehousing Operation Department. · Ensures that all required policies and procedures are developed and that business plan strategies, timelines, goals, etc. are monitored and followed. · Develops operations policies, procedures and standards related to customer service and warehouse. · Develops and presents reports to Senior Management that requires decisions regarding departmental activities. · Reviews contracts, agreements and other business documents as needed. · Prepare quotations according to customers’ requests, making sure such quotations are competitive and reasonably profitable at the same time through negotiations with subcontractors etc.. · Visits current and expected new customers to maintain close contact and promotes new business. · Negotiates with subcontractors such as warehousing, trucking and shipping companies etc. Enters into contracts on conditions reasonable and acceptable for our business model with approval from Senior Management. · Keeps in close contact with subcontractors when providing logistics ser...
