We are seeking an experienced and compassionate **Certified Medical Assistant** to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide both clinical and administrative support to physicians while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast\-paced medical office. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Greet and prepare patients for examination by obtaining and documenting medical histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information in the electronic medical record (EMR). * Accurately document patient encounters, physician notes, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system. * Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures using a collaborative, team\-based approach to patient care. * Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, injections, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and medication administration as directed by the physician. * Assist with electronic prescription processing and medication refills in accordance with physician orders and clinic protocols. * Prepare examination rooms, maintain clinical supplies, and ensure equipment is clean and operational. * Complete medical records, referrals, prior authorizations, and other cl...
