**Lead \- Production Department (M\-F** **8am\-4:30pm)** **JOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE** The Lab Team Lead is responsible for the timely, efficient, and accurate processing of products in the lab. A Lab Team Lead is a working lead who is cross trained to conduct a wide variety of tasks and may oversee the day\-to\-day activities within their team for a specific area, as well as be expected to perform work in additional essential function(s) as needed. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** * Manage day\-to\-day coordination of a specific lab function or area, including delegating tasks and assigning duties to employees * Evaluate employees within department utilizing a skills assessment checklist and provide feedback to management * Partner with Management to determine department standards, operational procedures, and metrics to drive performance excellence * Review data from performance reports, determine accuracy of reports and efficiency and productivity of employees * Provide recommendations for immediate process or performance corrections based on reports; Partner with management to implement the necessary adjustments * Plan and schedule regular rotation of all employees through the various ke...
