### **GENERAL PURPOSE** This engineering position is responsible for supporting efforts that are focused on process improvements and retail distribution advancements within Ross. The Process Improvement Engineering Project Engineer II will identify and support improvement efforts through all stages of the basic Lean Sigma process (DMAIC, Lean, PDCA, etc.) to simplify all DC processes and reduce related costs within the Supply Chain value stream. This position also plays a key role in supporting and leading the operational readiness activities of new building start\-ups and reconfigurations of existing buildings. Additional responsibilities include partnering with Network Strategy, DC Operations, and Training to provide cross functional project support.
