Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to): * Taking vitals * Taking medical histories * Rooming patients * Explaining treatment procedures to patients * Preparing patients for examinations * Assisting the physician during examinations * Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens * Setting up in\-office surgeries or procedures * Instructing patients about conservative and surgical treatment plans with the physician * Preparing and administering medications, including by intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous injections as directed by a physician * Transmitting prescription refills as directed * Applying and cutting off short leg casts * Wound care and changing dressings * Assisting in taking and developing x\-rays of the foot and ankle * Clean, sterilize and prepare surgical instrumentation * Clean and turnover exam rooms Administrative Duties (may include, but not limited to): * Using computer applications * Answering telephones * Welcoming patients * Updating and filing patient medical records * Coding and filling out insurance forms * Scheduling appointments and surgeries * Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services * Handling correspondence betwee...
