Alliance Water Resources is a growing water and wastewater contract operations company seeking an Accounting Manager position in the Columbia, MO area. * Manages the day\-to\-day operations of the organization’s accounting department, which includes all financial accounting functions, including such areas as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. * Prepares and issues parent and/or subsidiary company’s monthly financial statements. Also includes computing various monthly accruals, preparing/processing monthly journal entries and applying analytical review methods to various general ledger accounts. * Prepares and issues client monthly financial statements from information provided from employees and/or clients. This includes computing monthly accruals, data entry of cash receipts/disbursements and preparing/processing all journal entries. * Requires preparing and issuing special management reports using spreadsheet software. * Prepares and issues annual IRS Form 1099’s for applicable clients. * Maintains the company’s fixed asset system and records asset additions and deletions on the depreciation schedule.
