**GENERAL PURPOSE** ------------------- Under general supervision, the Financial Analyst will assist with the financial management of the City resources. The incumbent will be responsible for development of financial models and providing statistical and analytical support, financial projections and completing special projects as assigned. **SUPERVISION RECEIVED/EXERCISED** ---------------------------------- Works under the direction of the Department Head or designee; may exercise supervisory responsibility. **PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** --------------------------------------- **DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS:** The Financial Analyst works under minimal direction within a framework of general guidelines, goals and objectives.
