The Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information, provide internal control and prepare financial reports including assistance with quarter end financial statements. This role compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare payroll and entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. Additional responsibilities include analyzing general ledger accounts to assure accrual presentations and agreement between systems; coordinating implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures across systems. This role assists the Finance Director, or other finance leader, with more complex accounting functions and problems.
