RTP Credit Union is seeking an ACH \& Payment Services Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for ACH processing, including share drafts, direct deposits, EFTs, and other electronic payment services. The role will also provide backup support for card services, process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, and assist with accounting and other operational functions as needed. The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, adaptable, and committed to accuracy and exceptional member service. **Responsibilities:** * Process transaction files from the Automated Clearing House (ACH) daily. This process includes verifying and correcting data, posting transactions, researching rejected/non\-posted items to determine the appropriate action required, handling returns, charging related fees, initiating overdraft notices, and balancing inventory for future dated transactions. * Process draft files from Federal Reserve Bank to include posting transactions, handling rejected items, handling return items, fees, overdraft notices, and ordering draft copies. * Monitor ACH payroll processing by verifying originating financial institution (OFI) numbers on ACH files, updating individual di...
