A Nurse Practitioner is a professional nurse who possesses the advanced education, knowledge, clinical skills and experience necessary to provide expert nursing care in the area of specialization. The Neuro Endovascular Surgery (NES) Nurse Practitioner has in\-depth knowledge in the neurosciences. Under the direction of the Co\-Chief of the Neuro Endovascular Surgery Division, the Nurse Practitioner has responsibilities in clinical practice, education, consultation, research, utilization review and leadership within Neuro Endovascular Surgery Division and the Medical Center. **Parnassus and Mission Bay NES Service (100% FTE)** Under the direction of the Supervising Physician and the Clinic Administrator and guided by the Committee on Interdisciplinary Practice (“CIDP”) Standardized Process and Outcome Protocols and Procedures of the Ambulatory Services, the Nurse Practitioner provides direct care to patients with multiple, often complicated neurovascular problems.
