**Basic Function** Highway and land development engineering, including interchange, street and roadway design, roadway alignments, roundabout design, striping and signing, curb ramp design, storm drainage, right\-of\-way, grading, drafting, improvement recommendations and analyses **Responsibilities include but are not limited to** · Support project managers with roadway engineering projects · Function as lead design engineer on all aspects of assigned roadway projects · Development of construction plans · Provide progress reports to clients · Planning, conducting and/or coordinating detailed design and drafting · Gather complete funding applicants for clients · Maintain databases per project managers’ direction · Research, write and edit technical reports and business correspondence · Proposal assistance for marketing director as needed · Field review and/or site visits or field work as required · Attend project related meetings as required · Perform all other related duties as assigned **Skills** · Oral and Written Communication · Excellent organizational skills · Ability to read, analyze and interpret business periodicals, journals and government regulations. · Ability to read r...
