Main tasks include direct repair and maintenance of existing buildings, building systems and non\-medical, IT or imaging equipment. Supervises work order and preventive maintenance scheduling, oversees staffing schedules for in\-house, and on\-call staff, inspects and evaluates condition of owned and leased building structures, building systems and equipment, provides estimates cost for repairs, replacement, and installation of equipment, projects future repairs and department equipment needs for the operating and capital budget process, develops, reviews and maintains preventative maintenance programs for major systems equipment in the hospital.
