Commercial Sales Representative – Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings

All Metal Building Systems is looking for a sales representative who wants to go after business. This is not an order\-taking position. We are looking for somebody who will pick up the phone, find opportunities, build relationships with contractors, chase down plan holders, follow bids, ask for the job, and stay after it until they get an answer. You will have opportunities coming into the company, but we expect our salespeople to create opportunities too. We want somebody who sees an empty pipeline and starts hunting instead of waiting for somebody else to fill it. We manufacture pre\-engineered metal building systems and sell into commercial, industrial, municipal, aviation, agricultural and other construction markets. Steel or construction industry experience is preferred, but it is not required. We can teach the product. We cannot teach somebody to want to win. The right person is competitive, comfortable on the phone, organized, persistent and not afraid to hear “no.” You need to be able to build relationships with general contractors, estimators, project managers, architects, engineers and owners while also knowing when it is time to stop emailing and make the call.
