This position is responsible for leading and directing multi\-disciplinary teams, both in\-house and private consultants, in developing plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation improvement projects; developing and managing multimillion\-dollar capital budgets, programs, and schedules; and directing public involvement and resource agency initiatives. **Essential Functions** ----------------------- Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions in the class series and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position in the class.
