Our New York, NY office is seeking a motivated Assistant Bridge Engineer to join our team working on diverse public and private infrastructure projects for State and County agencies. We are seeking a Project Engineer (Bridges) who will work on New York infrastructure design projects at our office in New York, NY. NV5’s New York Office operates on a four\-day work week. Responsibilities: * Lead and mentor junior staff (1\+ engineers) on technical design and project tasks * Lead the planning, administration, and design of structural bridge projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards. * Conduct detailed structural analysis and design for various bridge projects. * Develop and review engineering calculations for reinforced and prestressed concrete, steel structures, and other materials. * Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, plans, specifications, and estimates. * Utilize engineering software packages such as STAAD, PennDOT ABLRFD, L\-Pile, and MathCAD for project delivery. * Ensure timely de...
