**Overview** ------------ AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Design Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Raleigh, NC office. **Your Role** ------------- * Support the design and delivery of roadway transportation projects across North Carolina. * Assist with the preparation of construction plans, reports, and project documentation. * Learn to apply NCDOT roadway design standards and engineering best practices. * Utilize engineering software to develop and revise project deliverables. * Collaborate with engineers and designers in a team\-oriented environment. * Gain exposure to project development from preliminary design through final plan production. **About You** ------------- * EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if currently enrolled in a degree seeking program * EDUCATION: Currently pursuing a Bachelor'S or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program * SPECIAL SKILLS: + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) + Familiarity with CADD software, AutoCAD or Openroads Designer (preferred) + Strong problem solving and teamwork abilities + Effective verbal and written communication skills **Rewards \& benefits** ----...
