Coalcracker Stitch Works is looking for an experienced Cut \& Sew Apparel Production Manager to help us expand into apparel and workwear manufacturing. Our customers typically come to us with their designs, patterns, samples, and specifications already completed. We need someone who understands garment construction and can take those materials and turn them into an efficient, repeatable manufacturing process on our production floor. This is a hands\-on manufacturing position, not a fashion design position. What You’ll Do * Review customer patterns, samples, and specifications * Determine the most efficient way to manufacture each garment * Develop sewing operations and production sequences * Determine appropriate machines, attachments, needles, stitches, and sewing techniques * Develop efficient production workflows for new products * Estimate labor requirements and production times * Help establish accurate manufacturing costs * Create and improve production processes * Work directly with sewing operators on the factory floor * Troubleshoot construction and production problems * Train and support sewing personnel * Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and through...
