**Senior K\-12 School Finance \& Accounting Consultant** **IMPORTANT: This is a contingent position subject to contract award to ALIBFA Solutions LLC. Direct K\-12 public school finance/accounting experience is required.** **Job Overview** ALIBFA Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Senior K\-12 School Finance \& Accounting Consultant to support a potential professional accounting services engagement with a Virginia public school division. The ideal candidate must have hands\-on experience working with a K\-12 public school division, school district, Local Education Agency (LEA), or similar public education organization. Virginia K\-12 school finance experience is strongly preferred. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform monthly and year\-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, trial balance review, and variance analysis. * Prepare monthly close packages and support accurate and timely financial reporting. * Support preparation of the Virginia Annual School Report (ASR) and Required Local Match (RLM) documentation. * Maintain accounting records for state and federal K\-12 grants, including Title I, Title II, IDEA, and other education programs. * Pr...
