Preferred Risk Insurance Services is seeking a detail\-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This role supports key accounting functions including accounts payable, monthly commission processing, account reconciliations, journal entries, month\-end close activities, and financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities** **Accounts Payable** * Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely. * Maintain the centralized Accounts Payable email inbox. * Maintain payables within the Airbase Expense \& Spend Platform, including invoice processing, payment workflow management, vendor maintenance, and resolution of outstanding items. * Prepare and distribute vendor payments. * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. * Maintain organized Accounts Payable records and documentation. **Commission Processing** * Assist with the monthly agent commission process. * Generate, sort, and distribute commission statements. * Respond to agent inquiries regarding commission payments and statements. **General Accounting** * Prepare and enter journal entries. * Assist with month\-end close and financial reporting activities. * Perform balance sheet a...
