**TITLE: MARKETING CONTENT SPECIALIST – PART TIME NOT TO EXCEED 19 HOURS PER WEEK** **DEPARTMENT: OFFICE OF THE MAYOR** **GENERAL DESCRIPTION** This is responsible marketing work involving the writing, editing, and development of content for digital marketing campaigns. Duties include working across various digital channels, from websites to emails to social media apps, and strategizing and adjusting content to meet the needs of the city’s audience. Work involves collaborating on digital marketing initiatives with the Communications and Marketing Specialist and the Mayor. **SUPERVISION RECEIVED** Works under the general supervision of the Public Relations Information Coordinator and the Mayor. **SUPERVISION EXERCISED** None. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Creation of digital content including video creation and editing. Optimization of new and existing digital content. Editing and ensuring adherence to a style guide, such as AP style, for consistency in digital content.
