**Position Summary** The Asthma Preventive Services Specialist provides approved asthma education, self\-management support, trigger education, environmental\-awareness education, referrals, and preventive services to eligible individuals and families. This role focuses on education and prevention. **Key Responsibilities**  Provide approved asthma education to clients and caregivers.  Educate families about common asthma triggers and environmental factors that may worsen asthma.  Reinforce asthma self\-management education within authorized scope.  Help clients and caregivers understand asthma action plans created by licensed healthcare providers.  Provide approved education related to prescribed asthma equipment when authorized and appropriately trained.  Help identify barriers that may affect asthma self\-management.  Support appropriate referrals, resource connections, and approved client follow\-up.  Provide authorized home\- or community\-based preventive education.  Support family education and asthma workshops.  Maintain accurate documentation, protect confidentiality, and follow HIPAA, payer, and program requirements.  Escalate medical concerns appropriately to l...
