**Description** --------------- About the Role Major Capital Projects (MCP) has overall responsibility for the design and construction delivery of the new Midtown Bus Terminal and the construction management of the core and shell of the new Hudson Tunnels for the Gateway Development Commission. Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Project Engineer will: * Support the Senior Program Manager in the delivery of assigned project components for the Midtown Bus Terminal Replacement (MBTR)and ancillary MCP projects. * Assist in managing design contracts to ensure work is delivered within established scope, schedule, and budget. * Monitor and coordinate the work of design consultants, particularly mechanical and electrical systems supporting the MBTR projects, including specialized Mechanical and Electrical reports from subconsultants. * Administer contracts, including review of invoices, tracking progress, and supporting change order processing. * Coordinate with facility operations and stakeholders to support design development related to MBTR project. * Facilitate coordination between design team and construction management regarding mechanical and electrical sy...
