**Accounting Manager — Commercial Construction \| San Jose, CA (Santa Teresa)** San Jose, CA (Santa Teresa area) \| Full\-Time, On\-Site, M–F 6:30am \-3:30pm 140,000–170,000/year DOE \+ potential bonus 100% employer\-paid medical \& dental for you AND your entire family My client is a well\-established commercial construction company (\~$125M in annual revenue, \~25 active projects at any given time ranging from 250K–60M, all across the Bay Area) looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead their accounting function. This is a hands\-on role for someone who takes real pride in accuracy — you'll oversee a small accounting team while staying close to the day\-to\-day details of payroll, AP/AR, financials, and insurance. What you'll own: * Payroll — timecards, processing, workers' comp, 401(k), quarterly/year\-end reporting, new hire \& new\-year setup (via Centrally HR/CBIZ) * Accounts Payable — checks, lien releases, 1099s, vendor setup, credit card management (via GCPay) * Accounts Receivable — billing, invoice tracking \& follow\-up, deposits, monthly close, reporting * Banking \& cash flow — reconciliations and cash management * Financials — year\-end close, WIP reportin...
