Directs pharmacy employees in all daily operations of the Pharmacy. Uses clinical knowledge to answer questions and provide education to patients and healthcare professionals on appropriate medication usage. Reports To: Pharmacist in Charge Supervises: None Classification: Non\-Exempt QUALIFICATIONS Advanced degree in pharmacy required. At least 3 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred. Must have a current license in the state of Louisiana. Interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with physicians and various other hospital personnel. OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE Category II Non Routine exposure. **RESPONSIBILITIES** 1\. Educates healthcare professionals and patients on safe and appropriate medication use including, but not limited to drug interactions and side effects. 2\.
