Heber Light \& Power is seeking an experienced **Controller** to join our team and play a key role in managing the organization's accounting and financial operations. This position provides leadership for day\-to\-day accounting activities while supporting accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, budgeting, auditing, and sound financial practices. The Controller reports to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with management, employees, auditors, vendors, and other stakeholders. The position also provides oversight of the Company's purchasing and procurement function. ### **What You'll Do** * Direct and coordinate day\-to\-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. * Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses for management and the Board of Directors. * Maintain and strengthen accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard Company assets and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. * Coordinate audit activities and provide information and support to external auditors. * Assist with annual budgeting, f...
