Summary: UNC Hospitals Department of Pharmacy has an immediate opening for a highly motivated pharmacist interested in joining our Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) Program at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. The successful Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) will play an integral role in the care of patients within the LVAD Program, a multidisciplinary service which offers both bridge‑to‑transplant and long‑term LVAD care for advanced heart failure. The LVAD CPP will serve as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on the interdisciplinary health care team and will provide clinical support to physicians, other APPs, nurses, and ancillary staff on the advanced heart failure and transplant teams.
