Overview: We are seeking a full\-time **Software Engineer \- OEM Airframe Lead** in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you'll be responsible for serving in a leadership capacity to integrate Garmin's products into the cockpits of industry leading aircraft. You'll write software in C and Python, configure the flight deck to meet your customer's requirements, and integrate software for delivery to the customer. This role provides a customer facing opportunity with aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in addition to software engineering responsibilities. Responsibilities: **Essential Functions*** Creates and executes designs for small sets of new functionalities as part of a software project using C, C\+\+, C\#, Java, assembly language, or other selected languages * Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process * May perform as a technical leader or Lead Software Engineer for derivative software project * Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions * Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using s...
