**DESCRIPTION** --------------- Across state and local government, the software that powers everyday public services is being rebuilt around generative AI and agentic systems. AWS is hiring a Senior Solutions Architect (SA) to help Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) reimagine their products on AWS. You will work directly with the leadership and engineering teams of ISVs whose software runs 911 dispatch, digital evidence, court case management, permitting and licensing, and benefits eligibility. Your customer is a commercial software company. Their customer is a government agency. Their end user is a constituent. This is an advisory role, focused on generative AI, agentic architectures, and the data foundations that make both work in regulated environments. You own the technical relationship with a portfolio of GovTech ISVs, and you lead the architectural deep dives that shape what they build. It is hands\-on in a specific way. You will build prototypes and reference implementations, demonstrate that a pattern works before an ISV commits to it, and unblock their engineers when they are stuck.
