**Job Summary**: We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position requires an understanding of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask. **Duties:** \-Patient intake and review of medical history with entry into electronic medical record \- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures such as ingrown toenails and procedures requiring injections \- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse \- Prepare patients for X\-rays and other diagnostic tests \- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and procedures \- Assist provider with cast applications and immobilizations \- Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment \- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families **Requirements:** \- Bilingual in Spanish/English \- Podiatry or orthopedic knowledge and previous experience working in a medical office a plus, but willing to train \- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge \- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail \- Excellent communication skills and ...
