Toth \& Associates, Inc. (TOTH) has an opening for a Transmission Engineer \- I/II. As a Transmission Engineer, you will design, analyze, and implement the conceptual, preliminary, and final design of transmission and distribution lines to ensure safe and reliable power delivery. You will work under the direction and mentorship of a Project Engineer to develop design calculations, drawings, specifications, and other documents for construction. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Conceptualize and design high\-voltage transmission lines, poles, and substation structures, performing structural, electrical, and load flow analyses to ensure system performance and reliability. * Utilize PLS\-CADD and other specialized software to create virtual models of transmission lines, generate structural designs, and develop staking plans. * Prepare appropriate materials lists for transmission components, considering factors like terrain, weather, and electrical load. * Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and regulatory standards, including local, state, and federal regulations and industry codes like NESC. * Develop detailed staking sheets that specify pole or structure locations, d...
